A simpler way to change hands
Nestloop started the way a lot of good things start in New Zealand — with a kitchen-table conversation about a frustrating experience.
We'd watched a friend pay $62,000 in commission to sell a home they'd owned for seven years, in a market where buyers were queuing up at the door. The agent didn't do anything wrong. They just got paid — handsomely — for a sale that was, by most measures, going to happen anyway.
"There has to be a better way for people to sell their home without losing a year's savings to a middleman."
So we built it. Nestloop is the marketplace we wished existed — one where sellers stay in charge, buyers get honest information, and the pros who help you along the way get paid for the work they actually do.
